I also support them in preventing burnout (or a relapse), find the right life balance, strengthen their resilience and enhance their professional and leadership skills, and their well-being.I work with humanitarian organizations and international companies willing to support their employees and the accompanying expat spouses in their transitions, professional and personal development and well-being.My conviction is that in every transition, whether desired or imposed, there are opportunities and a chance to reinvent oneself, a little, a lot, even passionately! Facilitating these positive and lasting changes in the lives of the humanitarians and expatriate spouses I accompany is what I love most about my work! My own life is made up of many changes. As an expatriate for 30 years, I've worked in 12 countries, experienced 5 career changes (teacher, manager of professional musicians, humanitarian, expatriate spouse, Life & Career Coach) and undergone multiple professional and personal transitions (including a return to my home country for a few years). As a humanitarian, I worked for 3 years in development, then for 10 years with the International Committee of the Red Cross (CICIR), in the field in emergency contexts and at headquarters. I'm very familiar with the realities and challenges of humanitarian work and life.11 years ago, when I took on the status of expatriate spouse, I realized how complicated this role was to manage and assume, as it was poorly understood and not at all valued. I had to overcome many obstacles to find my rightful place and the right professional and personal balance. I fully understand the challenges associated with this very special status. Today, I offer programs (in French and English), specifically adapted to the challenges of humanitarians, expatriates and expatriate spouses, having developed a unique method for each program.I also offer training courses and workshops designed to equip humanitarians, expatriates and expatriate spouses with the tools they need to face their particular challenges and make successful life and career transitions.
