Provide administrative support to the Director of The Encounter Project. This is a start up so I am performing the role of administrative assistant and assisting the Director with completing the Articles of Incorporation application with the State of MI for incorporation of the organization. I take meeting minutes and distribute them to all attendees and set up corporate files. I do whatever the Director doesn't have time to do regarding managing the business side of the organization.

Follow up with each adopting family to assure the well being of their new pet and determine if there are any specific problems or issues the adopter is having, Help resolve them. Seek assistance of specialists when required. Record all followup and communication with the adopter on the pet's profile page on the Adopt-A-Pet website.

I complete projects that support the function of the organization. An example is the project to compile the processes and procedures in one document to be used for training, fund raising and general PR.
