Responsible for the procurement of Direct & lndirect Material and Outside Services for a Tier 1 production source, supplying machined castings and forgings for the Heavy Duty Truck, Construction, Agriculture and Mining Industries. Negotiating favorable pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules. Qualifying new suppliers and consolidating the existing supply base to leverage manufacturing capabilities. Establishing and maintaining strong supplier relationships with customers to support business requirements.

Responsible for the procurement of Indirect Material and Outside Services for multiple manufacturing facilities, including machining, painting, heat treating, and perishable tooling.

Responsible for the procurement of supplier and division sourced service parts from domestic and global sources. Use of analytic tools to interpret financial and industry information to identify competitive environmental and economic drivers for developing cost savings and sourcing strategies. Use of MRP, GQL, SAP and Microsoft Office systems.
