As HR Talent Specialist I provide HR leadership to three business units within Canada with specialized industry and technology skills. I am responsible for managing supply/demand activities, understanding the business environment to determine, develop and execute innovative solutions to provide guidance and counsel to resolve supply/demand issues, provide input into resource planning activities and manage/monitor people productivity targets

HR Business Partner to Senior Leadership providing regular updates on HR related matters and making recommendations as required. Coach Leadership on communicating business/staffing strategies to employees, HR policies/procedures and complex ER situations. Manage the annual performance management and compensation processes, including promotions, salary and bonus review. Manage Monthly/Quarterly/Annual headcount planning – forecasting headcount, growth and attrition in line with global targets. Identify and address talent skills gaps and training opportunities aligned with pipeline demand and hot skills in the market. Partner with Recruitment team to ensure synchronized fulfilment of demand and recruiting plans, and providing salary and level recommendations for all new hires.

As HR Generalist I managed the day to day operations of the human resources office. I provided HR guidance to leadership and employees regarding HR policies, ER issues, benefits including Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), and Maternal/Paternal Leave. I was responsible for managing the end to end Talent Acquisition process and was also involved in assessing talent development needs and identifying suitable training opportunities for employees.
