Worked with vendor to obtain call traces, identify resoutions, tested/verified patches. • Designed and deployed configuration, performance and fault management requirements for VMs. • Created and wrote UVS Technical Service Requirements Document (TSR) document. • Developed and delivered UVS training to internal teams. 2) U-Verse Business (UBV) Service Residential Gateway (RG) and Integrated Access Device (IAD) - design, test, deploy• Labs and production testing of Arris, Pace and Motorola RGs CPE and Edgewater IADs for the UBV service for new generic software, features, functions and patches.• Worked with vendors to troubleshoot (call traces), identify resolution & verify patches. 3) Migration of Legacy Non Cloud Based Business Services to the D2 Cloud Based Collaborate Business Service • Partnered with multi-organizational team to analyze technical and feature requirements for network design, IT systems and processes, customer impacts, CPE impacts & create plan and strategy for customer migrations from D1 legacy platform to D2.

Key projects included:1) NBFMC/OD Wireless/Wireline Service, Design, Installation, Testing and Turn Up• As Lead Labs architect and system engineer led an internal and five vendor team in the end-to-end design, provisioning, testing, integration, deployment and support for the NBFMC/OD service. • OD service was one of AT&T’s first converged wireless/wireline business VoIP PBX services, integrating a mobile device with an enterprise PBX by providing Intelligent Call Routing and Single Number Reach and it has generated gross revenue of $46.5M over 6 years. • Designed, configured and provisioned all platform components including call routing and data base application servers, routers, firewalls, switches, TDM trunking, IP circuits/connectivity from the platform to the service provider’s network, reliability, and local site redundancy. Wrote NBFMC/OD TSR Document. • Resolved critical design/integration issues and production trouble tickets with Tiers 1-4 in VoIP NRC and mobility NOC. 2) Unified Communications (UC) Federation Geographically Redundant Platform Design, Installation, Testing and Turn Up• Project managed technical build out internal and vendor global team to design, integrate and deploy, test and turn up UC Federation’s Geographically Redundant (GeoR) Phase 1 platform’s Layer 1-4 components in Allen, TX Internet Data Center (IDC). • Designed, configured and provisioned Layer 1-4 components including routers, firewalls, switches, circuit packs, racks, power, wiring, IP networking, local loop and inter-site circuits/connectivity, reliability, and local site redundancy. 3) AT&T BVoIP IMS Architecture Initial Design, RFP Requirements, Evaluation and Selection of Vendors • Lead team to create technical requirements documents, analyze alternative solutions and complete RFP process with several vendors. Recommended initial BVoIP IMS architecture and selected vendors to leadership. • Created and received 10 patents for IMS architecture work.

Key projects included:1) Hosted Voice IP Communications Service (HIPCS) • Drove design and deployment of HIPCS; SBC’s first all VoIP platform and service. Built platform from scratch. HIPCS was a very complex and cutting-edge technology project. • Led end-to-end design involving five vendors (Siemens, Sylantro, Cisco, IP Unity, and Edgewater). HIPCS had approximately 150 companies and 5000 subscribers in first year, generating $2.3M in revenue in three years. 2) Voice Over Internet Net Protocol (VoIP) Testing, Presenting and Demonstrating• VoIP SME focused on testing, presenting and demonstrating VoIP service to SBC CEO/officers. Delivered 100+ VoIP presentations and demonstrations to premier/global customers, internal groups and at industry meetings. • Drove installation and lab testing for five beta and first generation VoIP platforms including hybrid VOIP and legacy TDM Centrex solutions from Lucent/AGCS and Nortel and all/pure VoIP IP Centrex and IP PBX platforms from Cisco, Nortel, Avaya, 3 Com and Lucent.
