Manage the consolidated travel program for the University of Texas System, including System Administration and the 14 institutions across Texas. Oversee UT System owned aircraft operations and a System-wide charter initiative as well as budget and reporting processes. Negotiate and monitor vendor contracts. Design and implement internal and external training programs. Participate in and speak at industry conferences and seminars. Facilitate communication between institutions, System Administration and state/university vendors.

Oversee business, planning and service groups within the Extension Instruction and Materials Center. Establish and communicate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual agreements, accrediting guidelines and The University of Texas at Austin policy. Work with dean and director to implement policies that promote both program success and fiscal responsibility for credit and non-credit programs. As a team member, lead and manage change to facilitate the internal merger of duties and functions between work groups. Coordinate in-house training. Supervise 10 full-time employees as well as additional part-time employees.

Research and develop new programs pertaining to continuing education, including charter schools, online training, and technology training for teachers. Analyze existing programs to enhance or modify to meet educational standards, student needs and fiscal responsibility. Coordinate campus promotions and university events. Research and write grant applications and proposals. Supervise 10 full-time and additional part-time employees performing human resources, accounting, and other business functions

Manage the operations of the GED Scoring Center, including delegation of daily tasks, hiring, staff development and supervision. Prepare budgets, proposals and grant applications. Supervise 4 full-time and 19 part-time employees to process, score and maintain test security for over 90,000 student examinees annually. Develop training materials and quarterly newsletter. Coordinate annual training conferences. Serve as primary contact between The Scoring Center, Texas Education Agency and approximately 300 General Educational Development test administrators in 11 states.
