Focal point for all project management, renovations, construction and warranty related issues to accept $100M expansion. Continual monitoring of maintenance workload partnering with Facilities manager. Liason with residents and staff to improve communication and timely completion of work requests.

Responsible for the recruitment and management of hundreds of volunteers including many facets of the coordination of the production of over 30 annual races, triathlons including the ING Hartford Marathon. Responsible for the development and implementation of various youth running programs involving approximately 2500 youth from over 30 schools in the greater Hartford area. Juggling and meeting numerous deadlines simultaneously is required in this fast paced environment.

Volunteering 20hrs/wk assisting with coordination of events, office support and merchandising.

Responsible for a total of 2M sq ft of facilities with 70 staff and $13M budget, while supporting the construction of additional 600K sq ft. Simultaneously managed multiple projects of a minimum of $100K, supervised maintenance operations while preparing for Joint Commission inspections.

Managed multiple projects supporting 8M sq ft of manufacturing facilities, and supervised a staff of engineers. Provided safety expertise from DuPont safety programs and contributed to achieving ACE Silver in process efficiency.

Built a successful career with numerous Engineering positions beginning with project management and resulting in a management position supporting 1M sq ft of research facilities at the global headquarters with a staff of 55 employees and a $3M budget. Demonstrated strengths providing customer service, managing projects and multiple budgets.During these years there was voluntary involvement with the development of inner city youth in the skilled trades with mentoring, partnering with school administrators and contributing on advisory committees. Community involvement included coaching Special Olympics for 12 years and starting a high school girls lacrosse team, taking them to the state level within four years.

Three different locations in five years doing predominantly project management and construction start-up assignments. These roles supported both the electronics and pharmaceutical industries for subsidiaries within the DuPont Company.
