Some ventures are so successful the first time, they're worth trying again. Hello Ceramics Bayou, Take 2! I started Ceramics Bayou in 1995 and sold it in 2003 - and have now bought it back in July 2016. A perfect combination of creativity, business and customer service - I am excited to be back. In addition to expanding the kids market, new focus will include expanding the corporate team meeting, customized gift market via Etsy, and adult art classes. Ceramics Bayou is a perfect union between my business interests and experience, and expanded artist knowledge I learned as owner of Germond Designs.

Turned a part-time passion into a full time successful art venture with the creation of Germond Designs. Created custom made-to-orders pieces and line of work, including tabletop and decorative pieces. Sold at local and national art shows, galleries and on-line. Ride Director for charity bike ride, Mamma Jamma Ride, with 500+ participants, benefitting 10 Austin area breast cancer agencies. Led complete redesign of website, improved ride day efficiencies, reduced costs and created repeatable processes.

Provided one-on-one business skill training to business owners and executives. Developed strategic plans to align with business mission, purpose and vision, and success criteria. All clients reported an increase in personal/sales productivity, ability to formulate strategic action, provide superior service excellence and mastery of high performance selling.

Promoted to positions of increasing breadth and responsibility including marketing, research and human resources at software start-up Nets 2 Ladders (N2L). Key player with largest client account, H&R Block. Designed website plus collateral material. Created and staffed new Research Department and was instrumental in developing work flows.
