Tasked with writing component specifications and unit test cases, which included coding, testing and implementation of batch and/or online programs for a Medicare account within Electronic Data Systems (EDS). Programs are in COBOL/CICS utilizing flat files and VSAM files and tested using JCL and Expediter. Coordinated requirement changes and program enhancements with the client and onsite team lead. Also responsible for documentation, walkthrough presentation, system testing defect resolution and support. I have 10+ years experience in ALC and used ALC to modify programs based on enhancement specifications for releases. Also, there is an EDS written product called WAAPDSUT. This product is based on ALC and is used for many reasons such as stripping records from files.
