I am a serious believer in creating hard charging and enjoyable work environments and am known for my unrivaled passion for marketing and communications. After 20 years of incredibly rewarding corporate experience, I founded Kokua Creative Group, a boutique marketing and communications consultancy that supports company growth goals. Prior to Kokua, I served as head of global MarComm for a publicly traded company in the insurance market, where I led the transformation of the MarComm function and initiated a corporate rebranding initiative globally. Other roles included serving as head of marketing for a $1.5 billion workers’ comp division of Optum, as head of MarComm for a $500 million private equity-owned company and as head of MarComm for a $60 million government health care division of a Fortune 500 company.I'm also passionate about helping colleagues and friends reach their career goals. In 2012, I co-founded the group now called The Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation to effect positive change in the WC industry and support women in career development through networking, support, mentoring and collaboration. The organization continues to grow and impact change for both men and women.Kokua is the Hawaiian word for help or support and that's exactly what Kokua Creative Group provides to our clients.
