Responsibilities:Directed and supervised a team of 10 Cell Technicians to achieve proper maintenance and ongoing operation of all core RF, transport/backhaul, and data elements as well as the physical plant necessary to deliver on the Verizon Wireless network reliability brand promise.Managed operation of all technologies necessary to expand and evolve the network to meet Customer demands for new and improved service offerings. Supported capital and expense budgets while delivering upon financial targets. Trained and develop the workforce to create network management bench strength. Organized and scheduled resources necessary to support broad range of network elements including but not limited to installation of transport facilities, software translations, and hardware/software upgrade support. Responsibilities:  Managed a team of 12 direct reports, facilitate corporate human resource policy and manage the administration of mechanization within the department.  Negotiated leases, purchase agreements, amendments and other contract documents to support new cell build programs and service improvement projects; crafted strategies to preserve our presence at embedded base sites and supported significant company initiatives, such as LTE deployment and capacity management and DAS deployments. Planned, managed and implemented the acquisition and disposition of real estate required to meet capital spending goals and expense management expectations each calendar year in a Region that extends to four states, encompasses nearly 250,000 square miles of land, operates more than 1500 cell sites and seven MSC’s.
