Developed and leads a unique year-long cohort that engages current and emerging leaders who are committed to personal growth, career advancememt, civic engagement, meaningful networking, and service to the northeast metro region. Training and leadership coaching is provided by Nancy Hoglund, CEC, CMQ/OE. This program has gained an excellemt reputation and attracts outstanding participants from all levels of leadership, sectors and industries. Participants have achieved professional success as well as established life-long relationshios. Many organizations participate every year and have developed their own internal nomination and selection process for cohort members.Local leaders and organizations in the metro serve as guest speakers and provide behind-the-scenes tours. Several participants have gone on to achieve public recognition and awards for their success.

HOA President utilizing prior board experience and professional experience training and consulting with local and national boards. Especially meaningful as the HOA is located and named after the Miller Century Farm, my grandparent’s farm where I grew up. My mother Fern accepted the Century Farm Award by Anoka County.Led strategy, research and transition to new management company, leveraged existing relationship with a local bank to help the board expedite relationship building to increase HOA revenue and new investments. Brought in new experts to resolve an ongoing expensive problem during the transition between management companies.Key liaison with manager and vendors throughout two capital projects. Recruited new board members, provided onboarding and actively building infrastucture.

Led strategic turnaround of budget, projects and RFP process for management transition. Conducted board development, resulting in a more cohesive and collaborative leadership team and culture. Created internal systems for board operations and increased transparency and community communication. Secured a $20,000 BizRecycling grant for trash/recycling and monitoring improvements. Worked with board and manager to conduct the 1st community-wide survey to gain input on potential policy changes and other considerations. Led the board’s comprehensive re-write and editing of HOA governing document, policy changes and new resolutions with the board, manager and attorney. Developed revision of seller’s packet, resulting in more streamlined, accurate and informative material for prospective buyers. Served as the management company’s guest speaker for their multi-state annual meeting. Recruited new board members and turned over organized, electronic records to ensure seamless transition and sustainability when leaving the HOA for a new home.
