Nancy Kibuthu is a mother of two, an entrepreneur, a public speaker, and an author. Her focus is on personal development and growth.While growing in Kenya, in a small village called Muruguru (Nyeri County), with a lot of time on her hands and a big imagination, Nancy had no idea that one day she would have a family and own a thriving business in America. She was the oldest of four girls in a typical African household. Dinners were often spent in silence while family members had their noses buried in books. It is in this environment that the fire for writing was ignited - at around the age of four, when she taught one of her twin sisters to scribble her name on the red soil using her index finger.Nancy’s career was a normal one. She started by holding down jobs that included working in a warehouse and home care giving before establishing her own home care agency - Humble Homecare Services LLC. Her journey as an author began in mid-2019 when her husband passed on. She commissioned someone to write her first book titled “Beyond All Limitations: Stories of Freedom's Little Miracles”, which is in the format of a memoir meant to inspire someone out there through her phenomenal story. The book was published in September 2020 and it is available for purchase on various digital book stores including amazon.com. Through the book, Nancy details her journey of perseverance, hard work, faith, and hope which have led her to live a blessed life full of freedom’s little miracles, and she wants you to know that you can too!Writing her own book has always been on her bucket list, and eventually, with this second book - “Girl, Work That Magic”, it became a reality.Nancy can usually be found reading a book, and that book will most likely be a personal development one. When not absorbed in penning her upcoming gripping page-turner, she loves volunteering with charitable organizations, cooking and going shopping with her lovely daughter. She lives in the United States, with her two children Nicole and Jesse.
