The Christian Faith communities in Westminster have been meeting to look at the boundaries of Westminster and what outreach is needed within the city. Working with the police and fire department we have started by hearing what goes on in the city. What are the needs and what agencies are in place and where faith communities can help with outreach within Westminster. How can each congregation help the citizens of Westminster become better neighbors, help our citizens in need and help combat abuse in domestic violence and drugs. In the months ahead we look forward to follow where God will lead us. Exciting indeed!

I was elected to the board of the Westminster Historical Society as a trustee with a three year term.

I was appointed to the CSU extension board. There are many programs and schools can request to have a 4-H after school program. There are summer camps and during the Jefferson County Fair the 4-H students show what they have done over the year. They work with Home Cottage businesses and teach the safe food classes.

N2Sports is an organization that wants young students to learn a sport, enjoy the outdoors and learn leadership skills while playing a sport.

Meet monthly to listen to presentations, have discussions about transportation in Metro Region of RTD. The committee is currently working on finding groups that don't know how to use the bus or trains and take them on an experience so all their questions are answered and they feel comfortable riding transit. This group is made up of citizens across the metro region with wide experience and knowledge.

The alumni help support the police department and is committed to service education and community. We plan events, fundraisers and support the citizen academy classes taught by the police department.

I joined the Metro North Chamber in 2014. I wanted a broad group to network with since I am a small business out of my home. The Chamber has so many opportunities, even for a home based business and I started attending the business and government affairs group during the legislative sessions. In my industry, I knew a change needed to be made in Cottage Foods Act and the chamber helped me get those changes made. I am just finishing up being chair of the ambassadors Feb. 2019. A wonderful group of people to network with no matter what you need!

I was elected Vice chair of the church council last year and after our annual meeting became president for 2015.

Communicating with 108,000 residents and finding ways to be out in the public to answer questions and share what projects were in the city. Promoting our city, working with regional partners for broader issues. Member of DRCOG board and chair for 1 year, Urban Drainage, Metro Mayors Caucus and Adams County Mayor/Manager meetings.
