My research focuses on understanding and providing insights into the complexity of the innovation system, specifically in service design and service innovation. I explore how factors at the organizational level can facilitate stewardship and, consequently, enhance service innovation capabilities. Currently, there is limited research on antecedents of service innovation, such as leadership behaviors and firm capabilities. To address this gap, my research in stewardship examines how organizations can enhance their design by explaining uncertainties in task execution during innovation delivery. My findings support the hypothesis that organizations benefiting from stewardship can improve their performance and enhance the quality of life for their employees. As a Design and Innovation Fellow, I contribute and continue to research in the field of service design and service dominant-logic to continually seek to increase the impact on cross disciplinary activities related to its key research areas in Design, Sustainability, and Complex Systems in accordance with mission Case Western Reserve University's The Weatherhead School of Management and the Department of Design and Innovation mission.
