With 25 years of legal recruiting experience, I serve as head of my firm's In-House Division and as its Chief Operating Officer. I love what I do, and my tenure and experience in recruiting enables me to help companies enhance their in-house legal capabilities by adding one or more attorneys to fill positions at the Counsel, Associate General Counsel, and General Counsel levels. I've placed attorneys in most practice disciplines but have particular expertise recruiting Corporate, Commercial/Technology Transactions, and Government Contracts lawyers. I counsel candidates coming from law firms who wish to transition to in-house practice as well as those currently in-house on opportunities to achieve their career objectives with a new company. In both cases, the goal is to match candidates with companies and available positions that will be a great fit for both parties. It's imperative to me to build and foster long-term and trusting relationships with all of the candidates and clients I represent. Additionally, I regularly participate in panel presentations to industry groups and law school audiences on topics including interviewing techniques, effective resume drafting, hiring and compensation trends in the legal market, and successful transition from law firm to in-house practice.Finally, when not recruiting, I find it important to give back to the educational institutions that have had an important impact on my life and my children’s lives by volunteering and serving on their boards and committees.
