About Nancy Pyrini

Nancy Pyrini has a BA in Primary Education from the University of Thessaly and a Master's degree in Cognitive Science from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.From 2000 until today she works as Project Coordinator/Researcher/Teacher in projects funded mainly by the European Commission (HORIZON 2020, Erasmus+, FP6, the CONNECT initiative, e-Learning, SOCRATES, Leonardo Da Vinci, INTERREG, among others). Nancy is currently affiliated with the University of the Aegean as Project Manager and Teacher/Researcher.Having successfully passed the written state competition of the Supreme Council for the Selection of Civil Personnel in 2005 she was appointed to the Ministry of Education and Religions. Since the year 2007 she serves at the 1st Primary School of Rafina.Nancy has worked for the School of Computer Science of the University College Dublin in Ireland; Solent University and Cheshire College – South & West in the United Kingdom; the University of the Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada; and National Louis University in Chicago, Illinois in the United States.During the school year 2010-2011 she served as educational consultant at the Hellenic Parliament, Prime Minister’s Office. The year 2011-2012 she has served as adult trainer/facilitator at the National Centre for Public Administration and Local Government. Over the years she has offered several seminars on demand on adult development & learning.The year 2000 she founded the International Conference on Information Communication Technologies in Education, known with the acronym ICICTE, held annually in Greece (www.icicte.org) that she coordinates since then.
