Nancy Rodgers served as one of the Deputy City Attorneys for the Aurora City Attorney's office. In that role, she worked with the City Attorney and other deputies and managers on the overall operation of the City Attorney's office. Nancy also supervised the assistant city attorneys assigned to litigation and to various departments within the City, including Aurora Police, Fire, neighborhood services, dispatch, and other city departments focussed on public safety. Nancy also served as the Chief Police Legal Advisor for the Aurora Police Department.

Nancy Rodgers represented both public and private entities, primarily focusing on general legal advisement, employment litigation, administrative proceedings, and business to business lawsuits. Nancy represented employers in connection with wage and hour audits, class action and individual wage lawsuits, and employee wrongful termination disputes. She worked with her clients on the development of policies and procedures, employee management, and effective employee training and discipline. Nancy also worked with many clients on ADA compliance, telecommunication, and technology issues, including the emerging use of social media in the workplace.
