Global Talent Acquisition strategy leader on the HR Leadership Team supporting Medtronic’s largest of four businesses; the Cardiac and Vascular Group (CVG), a $28B business with 30,000 + employees In partnership with peers in the Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (COE), developing hiring strategies for the CVG Medtronic Business and partnering with key stakeholders. Operationally leading the Engineering, Operations and Quality Recruiting team across North America, supporting 1700+ positions annually; leading a team of 12 recruiters and 6+ schedulers across the US..

Responsible for leading the TA team activities; including developing and executing on the TA strategy, goals, process and performance for Medtronic’s CardioVascular Division (CV) in Northern CA, Southern CA and MN facilities, supporting a business population of over 7000 employees. Additional accomplishments include the following:• Manage three direct reports; HR LDRP, TA Sourcers and Schedulers• Design and execute on a College Relations Program, setting records for improved female and POC hires Medtronic-wide.• Design and execute on a CV Talent Acquisition Process alignment; including cross functional communication and new hire training• Integrated three separate TA teams across multiple locations and businesses into one. Responsible for recruiter training, HRBP training and business leader training in each location.• Develop and manage the CV TA metrics.• Workforce planning for seven recruiters, one to two sourcers, two project coordinators and two schedulers.• Develop and implement TA best practices for improved the client and candidate experience; including strategy session guides, sourcing strategy guides and target profiles.• Communicate and collaborate with all CV HR business partners and functional business leaders to implement the TA best practices and align to their business needs.• Personally source and recruit employees for the Clinical Research, Regulatory Affairs and R&D Businesses; filling an average of 100 positions per year

Responsible for managing all recruiting efforts in the Scientific and Technical niche at our San Francisco Office. Providing quality candidates for the constant flow of open orders our division generated (ranging from 30-50 at any given time). Managing the recruiting efforts of 3 direct reports; our Clinical Recruiter, Scientific Recruiter and our Preclinical, Temp-To-Hire Recruiter. Personally responsible for filling all IT and Scientific Engineering positions. Responsible for all business development activities for our office. Managed the P&L for a $2 million division

Responsible for recruiting and placing both permanent and contract employees as Systems Administrators, Network Engineers, Software Engineers (applications and embedded), Database Administrators, Hardware Engineers, Quality Engineers, Test Engineers, Reliability Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Directors and Managers for many national companies.
