Launched in 2008; within four years Blue Shield was named to the 2012 World's Most Ethical Companies list and won a Stevie Award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility ProgramOther results included:* Lowered carbon footprint by 9%, paper use by 50% and water use by 40% over three years, leading to tremendous operational expense savings * Involved thousands of employees, with green group ranking #1 among employee groups in participation and affiliation* Created Blue Shield's first public social responsibility website and internal environmental website* Won more than 200 press mentions* Represented Blue Shield in a network of San Francisco-based major corporations tackling climate change. Ran internal grants operations, supervised program assistants and grants manager, produced a quarterly docket (200+ pages) for Board meetings, and chosen to serve as program officer for $1.25 million disaster relief grant making for Hurricane Katrina and the Indian Ocean tsunami

Helped launch consulting unit of employment-focused website, conducting market research for Fortune 500 clients on key HR issues. Results of diversity study I designed and authored covered in the Wall St. Journal

Conducted marketing and competitive analysis for top-rated cable channel during "Sopranos" and "Sex and The City" era, helping price product packages in different markets and assess industry and business model changes. Recommended first multi-platform distribution strategy for the service (a la carte video rentals of popular series.)

Analyzed sales, marketing, and worked closely with Boston Consulting Group on strategic plan to enter new markets
