  After receiving a BBA degree from Kent State University, I spent many years concentrating on my family, my professional sales career, and directing community and professional volunteer activities, painting, drawing, and taking workshops when time allowed. In 2000 my focus returned to painting. I began instruction from professional artists and have taken classes on a continual basis ever since. During that time, I received a Certificate of Fine Art in Painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art.
