• Member of the Seattle City Task Force to plan and coordinate the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Torch Relay as it traveled through Seattle with a final celebration at the Space Needle.• Planned community events along the Torch Route to draw crowds, awareness and excitement around the event.• Coordinated and attended elementary school assemblies and provided Olympic Torch curriculum.• Selected from the Seattle team to advance to New York and plan one of the largest events along the nation-wide Olympic Torch Route. • Gathered and inspired hundreds of volunteers for the New York event.• Selected to advance to Atlanta to document the various events, crowds and marketing efforts from the start of the Olympic Torch Relay.• Recognized by Coca-Cola for my efforts and work on the Olympic Torch Relay and was awarded to run a leg of the relay and given a commemorative Olympic Torch.
