Greater Seattle Area

• Member of the Seattle City Task Force to plan and coordinate the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Torch Relay as it traveled through Seattle with a final celebration at the Space Needle.
• Planned community events along the Torch Route to draw crowds, awareness and excitement around the event.
• Coordinated and attended elementary school assemblies and provided Olympic Torch curriculum.
• Selected from the Seattle team to advance to New York and plan one of the largest events along the nation-wide Olympic Torch Route.
• Gathered and inspired hundreds of volunteers for the New York event.
• Selected to advance to Atlanta to document the various events, crowds and marketing efforts from the start of the Olympic Torch Relay.
