  Partner and KPMG‘s National Government Sector Leader, responsible for strategic direction and management for the firm’s Federal Government and State and Local Government practices, as well as KPMG’s Higher Education, Research and Other Nonprofit practices. Responsible for audit, tax and advisory services delivered by over 1,200 professionals dedicated to the government practice. Direct firm’s response across a number of priority growth areas, including Health & Human Services, centering on healthcare reform and its impact on governments; Defense & Intelligence, with a focus on austerity and auditability; and Transportation, Regulated Utilities & Energy, leveraging firm’s position in the market. Serve as managing partner of the Albany office. Initiated the creation and development of the KPMG Government Institute; serve as Chair of the Advisory Committee. Representative clients: State of New York, New York City, State of California, State of Texas, State of Illinois, State of New Jersey, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and District of Columbia.
