Nancy Walker founded Tampa-based Walker Brands in 1992. After 32 years, in 2024, she sold the company to two long-standing employees, Tara Robinson and Matt McEachern, who now lead the firm. Nancy's passion over the 30 years included strategic brand and marketing work for place clients, including travel and tourism, and real estate development clients across the country. Walker’s unique understanding of branding and place making – and how the brand story line drives bottom-line business – is showcased in the building built in partnership with The Beck Group for the offices of Walker Brands, which earned Gold LEED-Certified distinction back in 2008. In addition to collaborating on strategy and creative, and leading business development for Walker Brands, Nancy has enjoyed speaking nationally on place branding and marketing.
