With the Ideology of conserving the environment by keeping plastic away from dumpyards and providing livelihoods in rural India, Aarohana used the charkha to transform trashed plastic into fabric and then to beautiful accessories like Bags, Home decor and storage solutions.Aarohana began as a curator for Corporate Social Responsibility projects, and gradually expanded to Plastic Upcycled & handwoven enterprise by training tribals, who are artistic, to also weave and earn a livelihood.
