About Nandan Pitre
The heart, it pumps, it beats...and it feels.I have a background in Cardiovascular biomechanics and Bioengineering. My primary research involves synthetic biomimicking vascular and tissue substitutes, synthetic cardiac implants and design of cardio-pulmonary devices such as VADs and artificial lungs.Currently I work at PECA Labs, where we develop cardiac implants for pediatric patients. I have been fortunate enough to be a part of this field and research, and look forward to doing more.
