Student Buddies for International Students are local students who volunteer their time to help new international students acclimate to life at their university and in a new country. The goal of a student buddy program is to make the transition to a new country and university as smooth as possible for international students, fostering a sense of belonging and connection within the university community.● Provides academic guidance and support to international students at IPB, ensuring they understand the curriculum, course requirements, and overall program goals.● Fosters a welcoming environment for international students by organizing social events and activities that promote interaction, friendship, and a sense of belonging within the IPB community.● Collaborates with the IPB Directorate of International Education to promote international programs through various in-person events and outreach initiatives.
