As a coach for Klimaatgesprekken I facilitate groups of people who care about climate change to enable them to lower their own footprint and being able to share their concerns with others.

As a project officer I coordinate projects in the field of smart sustainable cities on the crossover of education, research and the work field. I am particularly interested in the social dimensions of climate change, the energy transition and circular economy. I am a teacher in the minor De leefbare Stad and coach students in interdisciplinary challenges. I am contributing to the development of innovation traineeships at HU and the future transition hub of the Celcius house in Amersfoort.

As a volunteer I was part of the Sustainability Advise team, in which we give advise to festivals and events to improve their sustainability and to lower their impact on their surroundings. With our quickscan we measure their current impact and make plans for improvements. We also organize workshops. Next to giving advice on sustainability, UMEF also delivers green entertainment installations to festivals and organizes fundraising dance events.
