Lead for conducting Implicit Bias Awareness Training (IBAT) for the panellists in the current application cycle of 2021-22. Conducted foundation and refresher sessions and provided real-life exercises to the panellists to understand and exclude biases that may arise during selection and interviews. Initiated documentation of stakeholder profiles associated with JSPF - including alumni, faculty, and students of NIT Tiruchirappalli- to promote inclusiveness among the freshers. Collated and published a resources archive for students with linguistic and technological barriers. Improvised the current norms of scholarship, intending to add more diverse students from vernacular backgrounds.

Worked under Dr Sridevi (Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering) in the Yukti Sanchita Project. The main objective of the project was to learn and test various Deep Learning models for face detection and face recognition. Tested Face Detection using Haar Cascade and Single Shot Detection Algorithms and Face Recognition using FaceNet Module. Caltech 256, LFW Datasets were used. The modules were done in Python3 using Tensorflow, OpenCV, Pandas and NumPy.

Worked as a manager for the academic year 2021-22, and mainly responsible for overseing the induction of new volunteers and deputy managers from the batch of 2025 and 2024 students. Organised a 7 day special camp for school children in and around the villages of campus. Handled all content and social media posts posted by NSS NIT-T.

Working under Dr Karthik Raman (Associate Professor, Bhupat & Jyoti Mehta School of BiosciencesIndian Institute of Technology Madras) and research scholar Indumathi - Computational Systems Biology Lab on recognising patterns in microbial communities. The model is done in python3 with pandas, networkx and matplotlib libraries.

Worked as a summer intern under the guidance of Dr. Manikandan Narayanan (BIRDS - BioInformatics and Integrative Data Science), Assistant professor in the department of Computer science and engineering, IIT Madras. With the team I worked on Phylogenetic tree reconstruction algorithms, focussing on Camin-Sockal Parsimony and Wagner Parsimony. Tools used : Python 3 ( NumPy and Networkx).

Worked under the guidance of Dr. A. Santhanavijayan, mainly focusing on Ontology Modeling. Proposed an Ontology Model to teach basics of Kinematics to Elementry School Children, with a reuse ratio of 0.706 and null reference ratio. Published a paper on the same in ICACIT Coference.
