I am Nandi Joubert (she/her), an aspiring epidemiologist and PhD candidate at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) and the University of Basel. My academic journey began with a background in Human Movement Science and Biokinetics, which I obtained from the Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha, South Africa.My current research is part of the activities of the UNESCO Chair on Physical Activity and Health in Educational Settings. This is a South-North collaboration between the Human Movement Science Department at Nelson Mandela University in Gqeberha, South Africa, and the Sport, Exercise, and Health Department (DBSG) at the University of Basel, Switzerland.
