I do several reports. I organise meetings, events etc for the department. I assist in diarizing my employer’s day, as well as those of the 8 Area Managers.I also do Casual Guarding. This includes chasing outstanding money from casual guarding from previous years, booking guards for clients, sorting out queries etc. I also keep all the files for each of our clients, my filing is outstanding. I was the reason our department passed the ISO audit for the first time in years. I put in place many more effective systems to make the work less. I used to also double as Client Retention Officer, I phoned each of our customers every month to make sure that they are still happy with our service. I tried to solve whatever problem they might have and redirect it to the right department if I am not able to help them myself.I stand in as the secretary for the 8 Area Managers. I take meeting minutes, book boardrooms and do general admin, e.g. faxing, copying etc.

Receptionist. Stock control, stock take and ordering of stock. I also co-ordinate the deliveries of stock, the routines for technicians to go see clients and service their machines. I do some general office admin and at month end help with the invoicing.
