As Global Managing Partner at 14th Degree Azimuth Advisory currently based out of London and Mumbai, I focus on assisting trade buyers and enterprises tap into the GCC wave by leveraging build/buy solutions that will accelerate growth and margins as well as enable companies navigate AI, Tech and SaaS headwinds with a steady hand.Previously, as the Managing Director of Russell Investments, I was responsible for building and leading the Mumbai office, the newest addition to the global network of offices across the US, UK, Australia, Japan, Canada, and more. I have over 20 years of experience in the hedge fund and asset management industry, with proven expertise in business development, strategic planning, process improvement, and financial modelling. by Sep 2024, the Russell Investments footprint in Mumbai ncluded 350+ associates, over 12 departments with large contracts insourced from the likes of CGI ( Dev and Tech ), GenPact ( Accounting ) and Acuity ( Marketing, Portfolio Attribution ) within less than 10 months of active hiring. In addition, the Mumbai location created and established a category breaking Front Office model leveraging experienced talent in the form of Portfolio Managers, Investment Analysts, Investment Risk and Portfolio Attribution experts to work closely with global teams and manage an active book of 280 billion USD. Prior to my role at Russell Investments, I founded TOPPEQ - a trailblazer platform to manage cap tables, investor documents, scenario and round modelling for the entire startup ecosystem within one comprehensive online portal. TOPPEQ's platform was acquired by Clearlist - the world’s largest private exchange for their exclusive use in North America. Prior to TOPPEQ, I founded OkGita (201K) an innovative model to enable lower paid domestic workers ( primarily women ) to build retirement pensions. I am proud say that a major Indian bank now operates this platform in over 6 metro cities helping 10 million+ users save for their future.As head of the APAC Fund Administration Business for SS&C GlobeOp, I managed teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Gurgaon, and Mumbai. A key member of all global large-scale deals with annual revenue over $5 million, I built the India operations from scratch to a 2,500 member unit. Part of the founding team of GlobeOp, acquired for $950 million within 12 years. My mission is to leverage my global experience and domain expertise to create value for clients of my newest venture 14th degree Azimuth Advisory.
