Responsibilities: As Performance Engineer:• Understand PSR requirements using MRD’s for KPI’s of different business processes of the application • Participate in planning different PSR scenarios, working closely with product development team • Develop various scenarios for performance tests • Plan performance test environments, which includes installing and configuring Siebel Enterprise, Gateway and Web servers • Develop load scripts and perform single user tests to cover end-to-end scenarios • Analyze the results from single user tests to identify any blockers (functional issues, slow SQLs etc) • Run scalability tests to verify any irregularities in the performance of the application • Run reliability tests to verify the stability of the product • Analyze the test results for memory leaks, high CPU usage, high RT’s for the application under test • Perform memory profiling (for memory leaks) and CPU profiling (for High CPU usage) using Glowcode • Prepare environment check list and results summary• Analyse the SQL trace and Workflow trace data for SQL timings, number of SQLs, new SQLs and their impact. New workflows, workflow executions timings and differences in number of steps for workflow execution.• Collect SARM as part of the execution and analyse it for CPU regression.• Also developed scripts using perl for automating the results compilation of the tests done.

Worked for Siebel On Demand team for two months for manual testing of the Siebel On Demand application version RTO 9.
