Nandish S is currently the Director of AI and Data Analytics at Visukhi Innotech Pvt Ltd. Nandish was employed by L&T Technology Services in Mysore as a Specialist in Medical Imaging and AI CoE. Nandish has over 14 years of research expertise in the fields of medical imaging and healthcare data analytics, in addition to 10+ years as a professor at Manipal Academy of Higher Education before joining LTTS.He is a biomedical engineer who completed his Masters of Science in Medical Software at Manipal University after graduating. As a research enthusiast, he then interned at KMC Manipal's Medical Imaging Research Suite with support from Philips Healthcare. During his doctoral studies at Manipal Academy of Higher Education, he continued his research in the field of Multimodal Medical Image Registration and Fusion for Neurosurgical Planning. Nandish has expertise designing and developing medical software in accordance with hospital specifications.Nandish has published 25+ research articles in various journals and International conferences. Through workshops and seminars, he shared his knowledge to help students learn how to use Insight ToolKit (ITK) and Visualization ToolKit (VTK) to create medical image processing and visualization applications. He received an invitation to conduct a workshop on medical image application development using ITK and VTK at the EPITECH School of Engineering in Paris. During his time at LTTS, Nandish trained the MedTech Solutions Team of L&T Technology Services on Digital Image Communication in Medicine (DICOM).He believes that research and development should not be carried out in a vacuum and is constantly searching for opportunities to engage with professionals from various disciplines. The motto is "interact and innovate."Nandish is a IEEE senior member and past vice chair for IEEE EMBS Bangalore Chapter. Being a responsible citizen means putting the needs of others above one's own. Nandish is also active with Rotary International and, as Project Coordinator, plays a key role in obtaining Rotary Global Grants.
