Hello! I'm Nandita, currently a Business Analytics and AI student at the University of Texas at Dallas pursuing internship opportunities in the financial industry and data analytics, specifically in the business realm. I'm interested in understanding how data operates and am committed to leveraging this knowledge to help businesses make more informed and strategic decisions. I plan to apply my skills in business analytics to enhance financial skills such as budgeting, investing, saving, and spending, enabling more skilled decision-making. My passion for Business Analytics began in high school through courses like AP Statistics and Microsoft Excel. My interest deepened through my research with Professor Lakshman Tamil, which deepened my understanding on how to interpret data, visualize data, identify patterns from data, and draw conclusions from data. Throughout my roles as a training associate at HGI, student intern at KD, job shadower at KeyBank, social media manager at Global Girls Texas, student tutor and officer at Accel, and president of my high school's Math UIL team, I strengthened my communication, teamwork, creativity, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills, which are crucial for aspiring business analysts. From my interest in Business Analytics stems my interest in Finance, where I am dedicated about using my knowledge of financial literacy, insurance, and communication in pair with my business analytics skills to help individuals and businesses make wise and intelligent decisions and ensure they do well, which is my goal.
