Dr. N. B. Mane, a Professor of Botany in Rayat Shikshan Sanstha’s Yashvantrao Chavan Institute of Science, Satara Lead College Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil University, Satara (M.S.) India.. He has completed his Master’s degree and Ph. D. from Shivaji University Kolhapur. He has 34+ years of teaching mentoring and administration experience for UG courses P.G. courses and research on Mycorrhizae and the Phytochemical study of weeds and rare medicinal Weeds in the desert zone of Satara District He has completed one A Minor Research Project is sponsored by the University Grants Commission west region and one research project is in the pipeline sponsored by the College under the RUSA scheme. He has published research papers in reputed peer-reviewed UGC care national and international journals and one book chapter. He has presented his research work in a number of national and international seminars and conferences. Presently he has worked as acting Director of the National Service Scheme of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil University Satara. Programme officer of NSS committee, Botanical Garden, Chairman of Adhoc Board of Studies Co-curricular activities, He is the resource person for the Induction Programme for Community Courses and is in charge, of the Seed Technology Department. He has awarded with N. R. Mane Best Teacher Award from Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara, Dr. Babsaheb Ambedkar National Best Teacher Award from Jagtik Ambedkarvadi Sahitya Mahamandal Nagpur (2022),India . Best.
