We consult with higher education institutions to comply with professional licensure related laws, regulations, and policies; and assist students with understanding often confusing professional licensure requirements.

Administrative oversight (process development, implementation, evaluation, and improvement) to the annual review process of all learners admitted into the Counselor Education Unit.

Provide accreditation and content analysis, process expertise, and evidence coordination to ensure Capella University and its programs are well positioned to achieve external recognition, including specialized accreditations, approvals, and designations.

Work closely with Faculty Leadership to gain specialized accreditations. Accountable for creating, formatting and editing information that is incorporated into accreditation deliverables. Analyzing accreditation data needs, mapping competencies to standards, and coordinating web content management platforms.

Managed program developed to strengthen preparation of BSW social workers for work in Title IV-E public child welfare agencies in collaboration with five MNSCCU campuses around the state. Developed, implemented and managed a statewide training structure to improve efficiency and effectiveness of federal foster care systems which determine child eligibility for Title IV-E, MA and SSI support. PI and Project Director 50% FTE (1997-2004); Developed and managed Area Training Centers for the Minnesota Child Welfare Training System to provide culturally responsive, family-centered, job-related training for county and tribal child welfare social workers, supervisors, directors and managers. Supervise a statewide network of trainers.Director of Training and Continuing Education 20% FTE (2001-2002); Preliminary establishment of the Center for Social Work Training and Continuing Education to enhance the capacity of the School of Social Work to meet the educational needs of social work professionals throughout MN and the upper Midwest. Director of Distance Education 50% FTE (1994-2001); Developed, implemented and managed MSW distance education program. Established accreditation for 3 sites in greater Minnesota and Wisconsin. Initiated multiple communication mechanisms, provided resources and support for faculty to incorporate multimedia course modules into curricula, provided instruction and training for distance course instructors, and conducted comprehensive program evaluation.Graduate Faculty Instructor; Family Centered Home-Based Services and Social Policy and Delivery Systems for Family and Children (Child Welfare) both in-person and over interactive television with web course tools in support of both formats.
