About Nancy Kantz

After 24 years of working in an administrative field, I had my “wine epiphany” when I volunteered to pick grapes at my favorite winery and when the first bunch of grapes hit my hand I knew I needed to switch careers. I’ve had many chapters in my work life but none have been as fulfilling as the wine industry. A favorite quote is: “when you talk about how much you know about wine, you show how little you know about wine.” That statement keeps one humble and always reaching. My desire for my work life is to always improve - either myself or aspects about my job. How can I make things flow better? What more can I learn?I am currently studying for my WSET Level 3 exam. My educational goal is to achieve a WSET Diploma and enroll in the Court of Master Sommeliers program. I look forward to seeing where this journey will take me and like wine, I hope to continue to evolve!
