Background: 15+ years of experience as a professional nanny, household manager, and nutrition coach in the Chicago, IL and Iowa City, IA.After completing a bachelor’s in Dietetics and a master’s degree in Health Promotion at the University of Iowa—all while nannying, personal training, instructing fitness classes, and working in leadership roles—it proved to be consistently true that helping to raise young children made her feel the most fulfilled.After connecting with my first few families and experiencing the tremendous value of an agency’s support from the nanny end, I knew then that I wanted to be involved in the foundation of the important relationship between nannies and families, and created Nanny Harmony. While pioneering as a one-woman business in a city with numerous agencies, I thoughtfully-designed a unique process that zeroes in the most important aspects of creating a successful, long term match. As a mom myself, there is nothing more important to me than fostering a harmonious connection between a family and a compassionate nanny.In my spare moments, I can be found heavy weightlifting or cozying up with my husband and two babies; June (2.5 year old son) and Ada (6 month old daughter).
