Currently serving as a patient/public representative in several research projects; as a public representative on an NIHR funding panel; with the RSM to promote digital health technologies; and in an honorary capacity with the Institute of Security Science and Technology at Imperial College London.Looking for further engagement as a patient/public representative in research and with organisations seeking better patient involvement, especially for use of AI, blockchain, XR in healthcare.I have a track record of successful projects and products based on emerging and best practices in Digital Technologies including VR, Web and Mobile Media and 'Serious Games'.I previously led a research unit at Imperial College specialising in eHealth, mHealth and vHealth. Prior to this I helped to modernise Knowledge Transfer in the Quality of Life Division of the UK National Physical Laboratory (responsible for healthcare technologies, environmental and life sciences).Up until 2002 I was Vice President of Global Web for a leading $1Bn multinational. Before that I managed Letraset’s European Software business, working with Adobe Systems, Pixar and Apple Computer. I developed the award-winning LetraStudio graphics software app in 1998.I have achieved success through vision and a pragmatic approach to getting the job done. I have strengths in team motivation, stakeholder engagement, project management and in applying my knowledge to provide innovative solutions that deliver improved customer service, effectiveness or efficiencies in accordance with business needs.
