About Daniel Langley
I am a scientist at heart, with a background in physics, chemistry and a dash of biochemistry. With experience working in dynamic multidisciplinary teams, I love to learn the languages of new science. I started my science journey in solid-state condensed matter physics, exploring the control and perturbation of hydrogen terminated diamond surfaces for electronic applications. Since then my career has followed a winding path through nanostructures and 2D networks for solar cells (percolation theory and devices), the worlds smallest water pistols for the largest lasers (sample delivery for structural biology at XFEL's), light for chemical sensing (plasmonic arrays of nanoapertures), growing human flesh (Full thickness tissue models at the CSIRO) and designing developing and scaling electrochemical sensors for health and agriculture (Universal Biosensors). Currently I am working with the great team at Quantum Brilliance to solve the technical/physical/chemical and engineering challenges required to deliver ubiquitous Quantum computing at room temperature.Specialties: Nanotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Innovation, Problem Solving, Research and Development, Integration, Matlab, Monte Carlo Simulations, leadership, Conflict Resolution, Project Planning.
