Education with a B.S degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Clinical Exercise Science from California State University - Fullerton. My undergraduate studies have provided me with a well-rounded perspective of human movement. My courses provided me knowledge and familiarization of biomechanical, physiological, and psychological effects of the body regarding physical activity in everyday life. I have a passion for helping others and an overall affinity for human movement; I continued my education at Santa Ana College and completed my studies to be a COTA/L.I was provided incredible opportunities to have fieldwork experience in home health, inpatient acute care, and mental health. I've co-led a mental wellness workshop in a women's shelter, and led cooking classes/craft classes for at risk youth. I am driven to conduct individualized and special attention to clients. Provide the opportunity for each client to reach their goals no matter how big or small. Currently: working as a School-based Pediatric Occupational Therapist.I enjoy collaborating with students, support staff, and IEP team to provide the best support/accommodations for each individual. I love the versatility and endless possibilities in a school based setting. Clients range from Kindergarten to High School. Experience with Tele-health and in-person. Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents. Experience with general, mild, mod, to severe SPED classrooms.
