Provide a diverse range of intricate financial, technical, and support services encompassing data analysis, event coordination, grant administration, project management, departmental budget oversight, and associated tasks. Act as a liaison between districts, COEs, CDE and COBs on behalf of program.

Provide a safe and diverse program for all students through the agency’s initiatives. Mentor and train staff to be effective team leaders and volunteers. Collaborate with ASES Program Coordinator and supplemental providers to support the agency’s mission and fulfill program’s goals and objectives. Attend meetings and trainings not limited to segment, staff and district meetings, learning communities, cohorts, and professional developments. Establish relationships with school administration, staff, and families to create open communication and have additional support with the program and students.Supervise day to day operations to ensure the continuous quality improvement of the program through Quality Standards for Expanded Learning Programs and Learning in After School/Summer Principles outlined by the California Department of Education.

Conduct research for the California Department of Public Health and Center for Disease Control and Prevention For the California Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) using the Computer Assisted Telephone Interview (CATI) computer application program, as well as research for the Nutrition Education and Obesity Prevention Branch (NEOPD) under Champions for Healthy Change (C4HC) using Automated Self-Administered 24-Hour Recall (ASA24). Conduct research which increases our understanding of people’s health behaviors and their health needs. Provide policymakers with the data they require to make evidence based decisions on a state and federal level.

Provides academic support and enrichment activities in an after-school and summer program of 25-1 ratio. Engage each student in games and activities where each individual will have an opportunity to develop their character and leadership skills. Create and deliver lesson plans to meet the Club’s goal and mission. Setup and cleanup materials and food used during program. Lead and engage volunteers, parents/guardians, and community services to enhance quality programming.

Create an enriched environment for individual and small group settings. Assisted students in reaching academic success by meeting them on a daily basis. Organized and planned lessons and activities to promote learning and academic performance. Reviewed each student’s academic content and assist in the development in several academic subjects for each student.

Provided administrative, and secretarial duties to academic advisors and department chair. Answered phones and emails in order to take and distribute accurate messages. Organized student-staff appointments and assist with event plannings and meetings. Update and maintained student and staff files and documentations.

Taught core academic and elective classes in small and big group settings. Collaborated with credential teachers in instructional strategies and executed lesson plans to students in a 6-1 classroom setting. Worked with low-socioeconomic status students and lead activities to develop leadership and team-building skills. Planned events and field trips for students. Create a safe and fun environment for all students.
