Having grown up in Japan, and lived abroad temporarily (6 months in the US and a year in Canada) before moving permanently to the UK, I am internationally-minded and love helping people communicate in a business setting. I'm seeking new opportunities and adventures to build my career journey in the UK, with the same level of passion with which I have thrown myself into the UK football scene (I play in weekly charity matches and support Sheffield United!)My professional experience includes organising exhibitions, webinars and conferences in Japan, and more recently in the UK with Quadrant Events. I am also User-Experience focused and have recreated customer journeys on online chat systems and event websites, as well as built bespoke event platforms based on client needs. I started off in the used car industry in Japan and worked my way into the head office, where I learned all about business strategies that can be applied to any company or situation. With this in mind, I am open to new roles even if that means an industry change! As a native Japanese speaker, I am also open to temporary Japanese language projects as well as full-time roles.
