Responsibilities: assisting the sales manager in his/her daily duties. Primary contact of 30 Travel Shops for day to day planning. Supporting the Travel Shops in achieving their targets, this also by regular visits to the Shops. Taking care of local marketing opportunities in close contact with the Travel Shop manager and the Marketing department. Coordinating and follow up on incentives and educationals. Creating and giving courses needed for support of the 100 travel agents in the network.

Responsibilities: primary contact for the entire Belgian leisure market and corporate market in Flanders. Daily jobs include sales calls to business and leisure travel agents as well as tour operators and corporate clients. Identifying and developing potential accounts, acting on market movements and negotiating agent and corporate agreements with international companies e.g. Honda, Samsonite, Crown Cork, Recticel, etc.Giving presentations and representing bmi at agent events, educationals, expo’s and other marketing activities. Since bmi is a member of Star Alliance, I am also taking part in the Star Alliance Corporate Working group and Star Alliance Marketing group.
