My extensive and varied training, at degree and postgraduate level, has incorporated Person Centred, Relational Psychodynamic, third-wave CBT, Gestalt, Existential, Attachment Theory, Transactional Analysis, Solution-Focused Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness which enables a flexible and effective approach to meet individual client needs. Various presenting issues I have successfully worked with in long and short-term counselling include, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, sexual abuse, trauma, eating disorders, miscarriage and attachment difficulties. I am experienced in client assessments, referrals, and meeting the time-limited demands of working within an organisational setting. A personable nature, in conjunction with genuine enthusiasm and dedication, enables me to quickly establish a strong rapport with clients to achieve effective outcomes.
