Generalist covering specimen receipt, processing, and instrument maintenance/quality control on a nightly basis.

Upon completion of clinical rotations at UPMC Altoona, I completed 2,000 hours of hands on training and in depth theory lecture as a Medical Technologist student. This internship included working in each department (Microbiology/Urinalysis, Chemistry, Hematology/Coagulation, Blood Bank) for approximately three months each. There was also year round theory on those subjects, as well as (but not limited to) Serology and Mycology.

While I worked as the secretary's assistant at Clarion University, I had a variety of jobs. I helped manage budget spreadsheets by updating and reviewing transactions for the department, handled orders and mail distribution, as well as provided guidance and direction to students’ questions.
