Certified Flight Instructor (Cfi/Cfi-I/Mei)/Check Airman
Current• Conduct oral and flight evaluation for issuance of pilot certificate, and initial/annual flight instructor proficiency check (airplane single engine, multiengine, and instrument rating)• Southwest Airlines Destination 225° Program Instructor• Conduct ground and flight training for students of all levels (private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot, and flight instructor).• Oversee and conduct pre-flight and post-flight activities, such as aircraft inspections, weather assessments, flight planning, securing aircraft, ensuring adherence to company policies and federal aviation regulations, and maintaining safety within training environments.• Monitor student performance, demonstrate flight maneuvers, and provide instructions and feedback to ensure student's aeronautical knowledge, risk management process, emergency procedures, and flight proficiency standards for the pilot certifications.• Develop instructional materials related to technical subject areas and training aircraft.
