Dr.Napat is a data technologies economist & entrepreneur. In an advisory capacity, he has been involved in driving business and social impact using Big Data at True Digital Group and the Stock Exchange of Thailand. He and his consultants at Siametrics Consulting, a Bangkok-based boutique data science consultancy, have unleashed hidden potentials for many large organizations with a combined market capitalization of over $25 billion. He cofound ViaLink, a Deep Tech Supply Chain Commerce startup, with a group of data-minded talents. The goal is to make commerce more efficient and sustainable through digitization, modularization, and automation. ViaLink also leverages optimization and ML to help enable new, competitive financial and insurance services at every point along the supply chain for all players.Dr.Napat is also the Managing Director at ThailandFuture, a social enterprise with a mission to catalyze a broad-based movement towards a more inclusive, data-driven, and forward-looking policy process in areas most critical to the future prospects of Thailand. He hopes to one day fix the currently broken policy process by connecting policy stakeholders together, decentralizing policy making authority, and harnessing evidence-based methodologies. Dr. Napat received Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, M.A. in international Relations and International Finance from the Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University. Previously, he held research roles at Harvard University, World Bank, and the University of Minnesota.Dr. Napat's first book, “ATADIA,” is now available in book stores around Thailand.
