Corporate Affairs/Government Relations and Project Leader Karnataka - I have been working in these areas for several years and got experience in managing State and Central government affairs as well as closely involving myself with industry associations like, CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, SIAM, FIMI, PHD Chamber etc., Apart from this, I have been the interactive point from the company with the Embassies and High Commissions and other external agencies. In addition to the above, in the present assignment with ArcelorMittal India, New Delhi, I am also taking care Corporate Communication and also assisting the Marketing team for product registration with the Bureau of Indian Standards for import of Steel products from ArcelorMittal plants world over. I am also instrumental in planning and implementing local level CSR activities in our project area in Bellary, Karnataka. I have also recently succeeded in completing land acquisition of more than 2800 acres and securing it for setting up Steel Plant in Karnataka, probably one of the largest land acquisition in recent times by any private companies in India.
